Design compiles all of our herringbone, chevron and Versailles patterns, with the exception of the thinner blocks in Italian collection, together in one place.
Decorative patterned flooring dates back to the 17th Century, and it is definitely enjoying a resurgence in the 21st, but laying a block floor, even one which is pre-finished, is a time-consuming process. For some time we have supplied our Versailles pattern flooring as pre-finished panels, but now we've borrowed the same idea for a new chevron collection – ‘chevron in a plank’. Currently available in four fashion-forward shades, they are ideal for both commercial and residential applications, and are obviously extremely quick and easy to fit.
More conventional, individual engineered chevron and herringbone blocks are also available – ideal for use over underfloor heating – whilst the solid tumbled blocks boast a gentle aged appearance. A matching plank to create a border is available for some products.
All herringbone and chevron blocks are supplied either with a groove on three sides and tongue on one, or two sides groove, two sides tongue. Those marked ‘handed’ are supplied as left- and right-handed and will be supplied in the correct ratio.
All engineered and solid blocks should be installed fully bonded; many of the products in this section are also suitable for use over underfloor heating (please check before specifying).
